The results of the June 27, 2023 Town of Pompey Republican Primary are as follows:
Town Supervisor
Richard Margino: 35.11% (132 votes)
Mark Nardella: 64.89% (244 votes)
Town Councilor
David Angello: 40.15% (273 votes)
Deborah Grenier: 23.24% (158 votes)
Barbara Stacer: 36.47% (248 votes)
These results mean that Mark Nardella will appear on the Republican line on the November ballot for Town Supervisor and, since there are two Councilor seats up for election, the top two polling candidates — David Angello and Barbara Stacer — will appear on the Republican line for Town Councilors.
Richard Margino and Deborah Grenier already hold the Pompey Conservative Party endorsement for Town Supervisor and Town Councilor respectively, and they will appear on the Conservative line in the November election.
Nancy Furdock, who is running unaffiliated, also holds the endorsement of the Conservative Party and will appear on the Conservative line for Town Councilor in the November election.
The Town of Pompey Democratic Caucus will be held within the next two weeks and will determine the November Democratic ballot. The actual date is still to be determined.
