Pompey Town Supervisor Renee Rotondo has publicly announced that she will not seek reelection this November. She cites a promise to her sons not to run again as the reason behind her decision.

There are currently two Pompey residents that are eyeing the Supervisor position: Richard Margino and Mark Nardella. Both are Republicans vying for the Republican line at the primary on June 27. Nardella is endorsed by the Republican party. Margino is also running on the Conservative Party line with the Conservative Party’s endorsement. There will be a Democratic caucus in June of this year (date TBD), at which time it is presumed that party will select its candidates for Supervisor as well as two board positions that will be up for reelection.
